AHU – Air Handling Unit is a heat exchange and air handling unit, it creates clean air. It is used in HVAC systems or industrial workshops. AHUs are typically installed in medium to large commercial and industrial buildings.
AHUs are primarily divided into two main types: AHU Gas (or AHU DX) and Chilled Water AHU. The product discussed in this article is the Chilled Water AHU.
A Chilled Water AHU uses cold water flowing through copper coils to exchange heat with the air. This process lowers the air temperature before it's supplied to the cooled space via supply air ducts. A centrifugal fan then draws the air into the occupied area. Before distributing the air, it passes through pre-filters (coarse filters) and bag filters. For environments requiring higher air cleanliness, an additional HEPA filter is necessary.

The AHU uses chilled water, has a SUS-304 casing with 2" panels, white aluminum fins for heat dissipation, utilizes primary and secondary filters, and includes a mixing box for return air.
The outdoor unit uses copper heat exchanger fins and copper tubes. The entire casing is made of stainless steel – SUS-316. The outdoor unit with copper fins helps prevent corrosion, making this product frequently used in highly oxidizing environments/harsh weather conditions such as sun and wind, [...].
